‘HATS ON FOR GOLF’
As part of the Worldwide Women in Golf Celebrations, a SIXES competition is being held on Tuesday 6th June from 4.30pm. Ladies who play or who have played golf before are invited, along with friends/family/guests to play a 6 Hole Greensome on the Ashludie Course. Entry is £2 per person. A prize will also be awarded for the Best Decorated Cap or Visor. If you you wish to join in the fun, please give your name to the Starters at Monifieth Links on 01382 532767 or add your name to the list on the notice board in the ladies locker room.
On Thursday 8th June Grange are hosting a ‘Come and Try’ Fun Putting Event for anyone new to golf. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to meet women who play golf and listen to the experiences of golfers young and old. Free refreshments will be aavilable afterwards.
We would really like all lady golfers to encourage ladies and girls, grannies, aunties or anyone to come along and experience the friendly atmosphere and camaraderie in golf.
